Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards invites you to our Fall Harvest Celebration
Join Garden & Gun and Land Rover for an Exquisite afternoon
in the Blue Ridge Mountains
You are cordially invited to join Garden & Gun and Land Rover for a full day of Virginia Countryside Events at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards on Friday, September 13th from 3:00 – 9:00 PM. Partake in a range of activities including a garden tour with our Executive Chef and Master Gardener, Beagling with the Waldingfield Beagles and off-trail excursions with Land Rover.
After a full afternoon of activities, guests will convene back at Pippin Hill for a family style harvest dinner overlooking the vines. With soothing music from a local trio, the signature views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a vineyard-to-table meal with award-winning cuisine and custom crush wine – this is an event not to be missed!

Clik here to view.Vineyard Harvest Experience – Pippin Hill’s Viticulturist is one of Virginia’s authorities in planning and managing vineyards. He will tour the vineyard and explain the Terroir of our region and the unique nuances of growing the seasons and our grape varietals.

Clik here to view.Chef’s Garden Tour – As a proud participant of Virginia’s Agritourism Initiative, we not only rely on Virginia farmers for seasonal, local produce, but we also head to our own front garden for freshly grown vegetables and herbs. Enjoy a walking tour with our Executive Chef and Master Gardener through the Pippin Hill Gardens and learn more about how we have designed the Farm-to-Table approach in our kitchen.

Clik here to view.Beagling with The Waldingfield Beagles – The Waldingfield Beagles is the nation’s oldest beagle pack. Started in 1885 by James Waldingfield Appleton, the beagles became the first officially recognized pack by the National Beagle Club in 1889 in Hyannis, MA. The pack moved to Virginia in 1970 and has been hunting throughout Albemarle County ever since. Bundoran Farm provides the ideal rural setting for the ancient and traditional sport of beagling. Enjoy the pageantry of the colorful beagles while admiring the elegance of country living in Virginia.

Clik here to view.Family Style Harvest Dinner Overlooking the Vines – Guests will convene back at Pippin Hill for a family style harvest meal in a Vineyard-to-Table themed dinner. Start the evening off with a glass of our Cabernet Sauvignon and our Chef’s Vineyard inspired canapés. Enjoy a to-die-for menu with perfectly shucked oysters from Virginia’s Rappahannock River, Blossom View Farms Heriloom Tomatoes and a Chesapeake Bay Crab Salad. Our Chef will also de-bone a whole pig and stuff the pig with roasted garlic and herbs from our front garden. We will roast the Porchetta over White Oak and Grape Vine trimming from our vineyard. Complete the meal with a cheese course paired with our Dessert wine, the Petit Manseng and the best of the best Virginia Apple Cobbler.
